Abstract
The paper displays the main milestones in the development of the home space closed-cycle gas turbine plant by the team of researchers headed by V.L.Samsonov from the Bauman Moscow State technical university. The problems to be solved are being formulated. Main achievements in the development of such plants and their critical units are being described and directions of further research are offered.Keywords:
